ID was originally started in Febuary of 2008, on Forza Motorsports 2. The original team owners, ID Firebird and ID LOWLIFE, were looking to create a new team meant for having fun, making new friends, getting sideways, and battling all the bonzai drifters that thought they were the best. Over time the team grew beyond our expectations. With new members and forming bonds with other teams, we became one of the higher respected teams within the community. But like any orginization, there are ups and downs. ID's worst moment was when the team was shut down in December of 2009.

Over time we watched alot of the most respected teams fall. Doing it Sidewayz, Team Xenon, and Team Washing Machine, to name a few. and as more teams fell, tons of smaller "noob" teams formed. We watched these teams puff thier chest and complained to be the best, though most had no idea of the true art of drifting, or tandems.

Finally we could take no more. It was time to reclaim our place. ID is reborn with a new attitude and ways of doing things. With a few of the Original Members, ID Jblaze001, ID N1GHtMaRe, and ID MadJak, we are back to show all the new guys what the true art of drift is about.
